Rust Patterns in Japan

Travelling around Japan I snapped lots of images of patterns in every day objects – this rust was on the side of an electrical / meter cabinet outside a building near Kyoto.

A colourful and vibrant painting of a young girl, head and shoulders, in charcoal and acrylic with parts that have been spray painted through stencils, adding texture. She wears a floppy hat that matches her copper coloured hair and looks down, seeming somewhat sad.
