A pen and ink with mixed media drawing of a prehistoric pottery beaker such as found UK ancient burials. It has a bulbous bottom and top half that flares outward, like an inverted cone. it's form melts into the background colours around it, mottled browns and blues, almost like its half burred, and gestural ink marks and sponges end a sense of energy and dynamism.

16 x 20″ Mixed media on smoked paper. Inspired by drawings made at Kilmartin House Museum of pre-historic pottery and it’s decorations, and colours inspired by Kilmartin in Spring. A vibrant, colour dense illustration in watercolour with pen and ink. A female figure with huge wings fills almost the whole space. The pale mint green wings have a feathery texture and elegant curved shapes, making the figure seem small. The figure has a heart shaped face, small features, white skin, rosy cheeks and bobbed hair insides of orange and yellow. she holds a large glowing orange and red heart against her chest with both arms, cradling it. her expression is warm and calm. The background is deep blue and starry.

Design in mixed media (watercolour, gouache, ink) for the 2010 Camilles Appeal charity Christmas Card.

A landscape painting of a beach in acrylics in a somewhat painterly style. A view over dry tall yellow grasses, with a wandering wire fence strung between sturdy wooden fence posts, leads to a golden sandy beach. A few tiny figures - an adult and two children can be seem on the sand. A large headland stretches out from the right side of the canvas, encircling a bay of deep blue calm water. the headland seems rugged and carpeted by green and rusty orange foilage that follows its contours. Buffy, scudding clouds move across a weak blue sky.
