Digital Abstract Painting

Over the last few years I’ve been prone to a brain condition that restricts me to strict bed rest for long periods, and I’ve found I have had to adapt to new ways of making art. Being in my studio hasn’t been possible for much of the time, and bringing in traditonal media to the bed space has been difficult, so I turned to digital art to continue creating work.

These digital abstract paintings continue and expand on all my interests and ideas when previously creating analog work. I often produce them in series, each of which are defined by a shared colour palette and certain themes that I’m working around.
